In June I suggested a life hack on making the most out your iced coffee by making your ice cubes from brewed coffee. This definitely provides an extra boost to your refreshing beverage. However, if you are planning on getting the same amount of ‘oomph’ from your iced coffee that you get from hot, think again. Iced coffee is about 30% water and therefore, less caffeinated than hot coffee. So if you really want iced coffee, make sure it was brewed hot and then iced, or opt for cold brew, which has twice as many beans, for a stronger caffeine kick. If you add in the iced coffee cubes, you will be soaring around the workplace in no time!
